Bringing you the latest news from LANDR HQ.
After what feels like centuries of burning the candle at both ends—so much code so little time— and endless fine tuning: we have two VERY big things to tell you about.
- We just launched a whole new LANDR website and mastering algorithm.
- We are hyped to announce that we’ve caught the attention of Multi-platinum rapper Nas along Warner Music Group and Plus Eight (DJ’s Richie Hawtin, Tiga, John Acquaviva, and Pete Tong).
These heavy hitters have come onboard to help bring LANDR to the hands of music creators worldwide.
What Nas Has to Say About LANDR
“Technology has allowed for more creators to be birthed. More and more music is being made but certain parts of the process don’t have consumer tools to help make fine and crisp finishes,”
“I believe LANDR is an affordable groundbreaking technology to help musicians make music that has a quality finish like any major label artist with a budget. I’m excited to help the LANDR team take their technology global.”
Crazy. Thanks Nas!
And hats off to the community who helped us get here, we owe you the biggest shout out of all.
Ionian: More Color, Clarity and Focus for your Masters.
We’ve deemed this release ‘Ionian’. Here’s a deeper look at what the update brings:
- A completely redesigned interface
- Wider genre detection
- Updates to the corrective EQ, multi-band compressor, multi-band stereo enhancer and limiter
Designed by our ever growing team of visionary-tech-wizards, the Ionian release marks a massive leap forward, not just for us but for the whole community.
The new masters are dramatically clearer, bringing more focus to your tracks, with subtle touches of colour and a huge range of dynamics.
And on top of all that, we’ve redesigned the look and feel of LANDR.

From Humble Beginnings
We launched this project with pure ambition. It was a dream with no guarantees of success. Since then it’s been baby steps with a few straight faceplants along the way.
But thanks to those who believed and gave feedback — even the hate, we kept making it better. We can safely say that it’s exceeded what we’d first imagined.
We set out saying: ‘We work for musicians’. That belief holds true now more than ever. We can’t wait to see what you do with the new LANDR.
