We teamed up with Chance the Rapper and SocialWorks to celebrate!
Going platinum means selling a million records. It’s a pretty classic milestone in mainstream music.
Today the LANDR community went platinum in its own way…
LANDR: 1,000,000 Creators Strong
Since day 1 LANDR has worked for musicians. Our definition of success is how many creators we help reach their definition of success.
But we didn’t get here alone…
You helped to make LANDR better by telling us what you need, creating and mastering music everyday (over 4 million tracks to be exact) and sharing it with the world on your own terms.
Today, the LANDR community is officially 1,000,000+ creators strong.
It’s the perfect collaboration—Together, we’ve all made LANDR better at working for musicians everywhere.
Which is why we wanna congratulate the ENTIRE LANDR Community on going platinum. As of today, the LANDR community is officially 1,000,000+ creators strong.
Platinum Now… Diamond Futures
Platinum is nice. But we wanna keep working for music and leave platinum in the rearview. Which means continuing to foster the future of music.
So to celebrate the 1,000,000 LANDR creators, we’re gonna do exactly that: Amplify the future of music where it matters most.
“Together, we’ll shape the musicians of tomorrow, by supporting the kids today.” — Chance the Rapper
LANDR X SocialWorks: The Next Generation Of Music Creators
To open up the universe of sound to the next generation of creators, LANDR has teamed up with Chance the Rapper’s SocialWorks foundation.
Between June 6th and 20th, 2017, LANDR will donate $1.00 for every new user that masters a track and 10% of all purchases to SocialWorks’ Music Academy.
SocialWorks empowers youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement and fosters leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago.
“SocialWorks and LANDR are launching a summer program to provide students in Chicago the necessary tools to tell their stories to the world.” -Chance the Rapper
Chance the Rapper—the founder of SocialWorks—said it perfectly:
“The pursuit of creating art is a universally honest and necessary expression of our hopes, dreams, and emotions— art is rooted in our innate sense of curiosity, none more so than from the infinite imagination of our youth. However, these journeys of personal expression are never just black and white, and not every voice gets heard. That’s why SocialWorks and LANDR are launching a summer program to provide students in Chicago the necessary tools to tell their stories to the world. Together, we’ll shape the musicians of tomorrow, by supporting the kids today.”
Here Now. Ready For Tomorrow.
LANDR and the entire LANDR community went platinum for all the right reasons. So we’re giving back for the same reasons.
Together with SocialWorks, we can all continue to support the future of music—And make better sound, better creating, and more music accessible to millions more.
Because LANDR doesn’t just work for 1,000,000 musicians, it works for 1,000,000 musicians and counting…
